Alfred Mathew Fullex Pte 40421 Middlesex Regiment 2nd Bn formerly 12665 Royal Sussex.

Born abt 1885 West Wickham, enlisted Maidstone.
He is wrongly named Fullix.A.M. on West Wickham and Fuller.A. Beckenham War Memorials in spite of the mistake being pointed out by the family.
In 1891 the family were living in Sussex Rd, West Wickham. The family consisted of the parents Albert a baker and Eliza Fullex aged 37 and 34 and their 5 children, Anna 12, Albert 11, Alice 9, Agnes 6, Alfred 5, and Arthur 3. In 1901.
Alfred Fullex was 15 and a domestic groom, his brother Albert being a coachman aged 21. Alfred Fullex married Mary Moore in 1914 and they lived in Beckenham at 30 Yew Tree Rd according to the Kelly’s street directory for 1916.
